Dr. Wolf grew up on a dairy farm near Eau Galle, WI. He attended High School in Elmwood, WI and did his undergraduate pre-veterinary work at the University of Wisconsin River Falls. He graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1979. He co-founded Country Doctors Veterinary Services in 1988 and since August 2003 is the sole owner. Dr. Wolf enjoys building and landscaping projects, gardening and camping road trips. Dr. Wolf, his wife Muriel, 4 cats (Poquito, Ollie, Tut, Carly), dog Gus, and longhorns (Sancho and Zorro) reside in rural Menomonie, WI. |

Dr. Schmidt grew up on a small farm in southwest Wisconsin. He received his DVM degree from the University of Illinois in 1973. In 1974 Dr. Schmidt moved to Menomonie, and became one of the co-founders of Country Doctors Veterinary Service in 1988. Dr. Schmidt assumed an associate position in August 2003 and continues his wide variety of interests including, but not limited to, general large animal medicine and surgery with equine, dairy, beef, alpacas, and small ruminants. Dr. Schmidt has a special interest in equine wellness, reproduction, and surgery. Dr. Schmidt, and his wife Glori, enjoy watching their childrens’ sporting events, working around their hobby farm, camping, and fishing in their free time. |

Dr. Bauer spent her childhood on a dairy and beef farm near Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She received her BS in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and went on to earn her DVM degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999. Initially a large animal veterinarian, Dr. Bauer has evolved into mixed animal practice, currently focusing solely on small animal medicine and surgery at Country Doctors. Dr. Bauer lives with her husband, Klaus, and their two cats on a beef farm in rural Elk Mound. In addition to her Red Angus and Red Simmental herd, she enjoys gardening, reading, traveling, and spending her “spare time” in the great outdoors. |

Dr. Todd grew up in the deep south and attended Auburn University in the great state of Alabama. After a stint with the US Coast Guard, he returned to school and received his DVM at the University of Minnesota in 2000. His career began here in Wisconsin at Cornell Veterinary Clinic as a general practitioner. Recently married, he moved to Menomonie to be with his wife. He and his wife have 2 older yellow Labs, a young Redbone Coonhound, a Vizsla, and a cat that is adjusting to the ÒgreatÓ indoors. An avid football fan, he can often be heard cheering for the Auburn Tigers and the Minnesota Gophers. The super bowl win by the Saints this last year was a dream come true. If only this year it could be followed by Favre and the Min. . . . |

Heather is from Cadott, Wisconsin. She attended Argosy University earning her Certified Veterinary Technician degree in 2006. Heather completed her internship and joined the Country Doctors team in July 2006. For the first 2 years she worked with the companion animals, but as her interests expanded she transitioned to the large animal side of the practice. Heather and her husband, Dusty, own a small hobby farm in Boyceville with their 2 dogs (Zeus and Dodger), 5 cats (Storm, Ruby, Jeremy, Caleb, and Michelin), 3 goats, and 7 horses. Heather also enjoys photography, horseback riding, camping, kayaking, and fishing in her free time. |

Jennifer graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota in 1996. She grew up in Forest Lake, Minnesota and is a self-proclaimed mud duck. Jennifer shares her home with 2 male cats named Moony and Olivander, a toy poodle name Nieko “aka” Freaky who accompanies her to work daily, and last but not least a Nanday Conure name Scooby. Jennifer also has 2 horses a TWH named Hank and an APHA named “B.” Jennifer enjoys trail riding and gardening when not at work. |

Madeleine graduated from Argosy University in 2009, and joined Country Doctors in January 2010. She grew up on White Bear Lake in Minnesota, and now resides on the south side of Menomonie with her boyfriend and their cat Fox. Madeleine has a special interest in exotics, wildlife, and zoo medicine. When not working she likes horseback riding, playing guitar, singing, swimming, and being with her family. |

Beth joined Country Doctors in 1991 as Practice Manager. Her responsibilities are financial planning, client relations, and human resources. Her hobbies are travel, interior design, music, and antiques. She lives in Menomonie with her dog Daisy and two cats |

Connie joined Country Doctors in 1991. She is our inventory control specialist. Connie and her husband Jeff live in Menomonie and enjoy riding their Harley Davidsons and spending time outdoors. |

Holly joined Country Doctors in October of 2009 as a receptionist. Her responsibilities include attending to clients both on the phone and face-to-face, schedule appointments and taking and relaying messages. Her interests include music, watching and attending sporting events, and going to amusement parks. Holly and her fiance Zach live in Menomonie, WI with their two cats, Bugs and Lola and their three fish Stevie, Tommy and Gus. |

Erin graduated from Elk Mound High School in 1999. She continued her education at Chippewa Valley Technical College and received an Administrative Assistant Associates Degree in 2004. Erin currently lives near Elk Mound with her son, Zane, her parents, and their cockapoo, Bella. She enjoys watching movies, karaoke, singing for special occasions, and camping, but most of all spending time with Zane, family, and friends. |
